The southern park of Manhattan is a beautiful park with views of the Statue of Liberty. I’d say, if you are limited in time and want to see New York in one day, don’t go to the Statue of Liberty. Of course, it is a symbol of freedom and some may say a must-have in any New York Itinerary. Sometimes the best view is a view from the distance.

Address: Battery Park, New York, NY 10004

For evening part of New York itinerary I’d like to offer two options:

1. Including a Broadway show.
2. Skipping a Broadway show.

As long as Broadway shows are breathtaking and endlessly amusing, I would recommend seeing one. Either option is great. So choose depending on your budget, because Broadway experience can be pricey, vary from $40 up to $500.

If you ask for the most important stop in New York itinerary, for sure it will be Times Square. Filled with huge screens of commercials and Broadway posters it is an ever-bitting heart of New York. Of course, the choice will be limited, but for the sake of saving money, it can be pretty a good option. Especially if you have no idea what show to choose. Just go for last-minute tickets and choose from what’s available and most appealing.
